The darkness ever deepens. As you stumble your way through the shadows of the earth and stone, you find yourself walking down a long, straight hallway. The walls neatly rise above your head, and arch to meet above you. There is nary a sound, nor a stirring of life, in any corner of the labyrinth.
The hallway seems to extend forever. Even in the darkness you have come to know, the staggering depth of the darkness ahead makes your head swim. It makes it swim so much, in fact, you begin to feel quite lightheaded. You begin to loose your balance, leaning against the carved stone wall to support your weight. Your eyelids feel heavy, your limbs like lead. The ground is a magnet that pulls your metallic soul further and further down, your eyes slowly closing until you see nothing but darkness.
