Time in a loop, a loop like a wheel. A rotating wheel. Turning an axle. Grinding bone to meal. Meal to the plants. Plants grow toward light. Light reflected downward. Downward into darkness. Darkness like a knife. A knife covered in shadow. A shadow that consumes all. Consumes the world and all into darkness.

The darkness ever deepens. As you plunge your way through the shadows of the earth and stone, falling down through the well, you hit cold water as you splash into the aqueduct. It's not too deep, enough to stand in and breath above the surface, but the rushing pressure of the waters beating against you keep you off your feet, flowing with the waves deeper and deeper, tumbling down the waterlogged tunnel.

Your arms and legs bash against the walls of the tunnel as you flail aimlessly along, tucking in to avoid as much damage as possible, spiraling down through the earth. The waters afford little space for breath, just enough to keep yourself alive as you are washed away.

The aqueduct tilts down at a noticable angle, clearly taking you deeper into the labyrinth and the earth itself. The vague light that allowed you to progress through the hallways is entirely gone, only darkness and raw senses guiding you.

Rushing, washing, slipping away. Flowing, winding, spiraling deeper. Down down down into the darkness. A darkness like a knife. A knife covered in shadow. A shadow that consumes all. Consumes the world and all into darkness.

Struggling to breath, battered and bruised, cut and gashed, you fall deeper into the stone halls of the earth, eventually striking your head at an unfortunate angle on a wall, fading into darkness as the cold takes your body.
